People have often asked me why we started to build the Sage Condominium first, as opposed to the bungalows or the retirement home.

When we started this project, initially, we set out to create retirement living as we would like to live!  We wouldn't want to be just a number in a large retirement home, we didn't want only "old" people around us... we wanted freedom, good friends and good living.  Therefore we started with the more "youthful" project, that, of the condominium. 

Why buy a condominium?  Because it is probably the best deal in retirement living.  Retirement homes can be costly and limiting: you normally would not have a kitchen in which to cook in, rooms would be smaller and there would be more people who would need more care.  This might not be for everyone; therefore, you could live in a beautiful condominium that you would own, and you could do as you please PLUS, you could have additional services offered by the Sage clubhouse, from housekeeping, meal plan, extra help or just plain good company!  We think that this would be the best of both worlds!
